| At Lettow Showpigs we are committed to ONE thing, and that is winning market hog shows. As opposed to using the cheapest or most convenient boars to compliment our sow herd, we continue to seek out the best showpig genetics from all over the country. Our sow herd is deeper and stronger than ever, and we've used an amazing stable of sires for the Spring 2012 pig crop. | ||||
CROSSBRED - |
Big Stick, Super Monster, Warfare, No Fare, County Fare, Cold War, Tapp Datt, Deep Threat, He B It, Sweet Tooth, Toxic 28-3, Candy Cane, Toxic 9-8, Big Bucks, What'd U Expect, Black Onyx and Banger |

| - | Big Stick, Super Monster and Warfare need no introduction, and have created more excitement and won more barrow shows in the last two years than any other sire group out there. Couple that with the complimentary matings to several other proven and new sires in our current line-up and we are extremely excited about the Spring 2012 pig crop. Our goal is to generate barrows bred to have that unique combination of stoutness at the ground, shape, look and the athleticism and agility needed to stay balanced when fed to 270 pounds! |

| YORKSHIRE - | Final Drive, Moonshine, Night Train, Change of Pace and True Grit |
|||
| - | Last Spring we blended the Watson Yorkshire program with some of our elite crossbred females and the decision to do so couldn't have generated more excitement at our farm. Great barrows come from great momma's and that's our priority as we've matched some of the industries elite Yorkshire sires up with some of our best Crossbred sows. In fact, we've bred our 2011 Grand Champion Market Hog at the Washington County Fair (Moonshine x Space Monkey) to Final Drive at Moyer's in hopes of making game changing white hogs. If you want to target hogs that are basic in their skeletal make-up and will only improve as they add mass throughout the feeding period…look no further! |

| DUROC - | Fire in the Hole (Hype x God's Gift x Boss) |
|||
| - | At last year's Iowa State Fair we found a Duroc boar that was different than any red hog that we'd seen in a long time. His skeleton, and hind leg in particular was as accurate and functional as anything that we've run across in a young sire regardless of breed. Fire in the Hole is sired by Hype and out of the Grand Champion Purebred Breeding Gilt at the 2010 Iowa State Fair. He looks to be the perfect combination of his sires skeleton and athleticism combined with momma's genuine width, rib shape and muscle. Call SGI at (800) 247-3958 for semen! | |||
| - | Our $5,000 investment in Daniel Hendrickson's Can't Touch This x HP Red Time gilt entry at the STC in Louisville in 2009 has proven to be a good one! "Ruby" has already generated a herd boar, several other jackpot winners and most recently the Grand Champion Purebred Barrow at the 2011 Iowa State Fair Open Show. We are pumped up about Ruby's Fire in the Hole litter coming in mid January!!! | |||
